Criteria
Job Description:
We are looking for motivated and analytical fresh engineering
graduates to join our software engineering team. In this role, you will design,
build, test, and maintain robust applications while leveraging modern
engineering workflows.
We place a high value on strong core programming foundations
and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a forward-looking mindset—including
the ability to effectively utilize AI developer tools to accelerate and enhance
application delivery.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Application
Development: Write clean, readable, efficient, and
well-structured code to build scalable software applications.
- AI-Assisted
Engineering: Leverage modern AI tools and assistants
effectively to scaffold, optimize, and refactor code while maintaining
strict quality and architectural standards.
- Database
& Data Modelling: Design relational schemas, write
performant SQL queries, and optimize stored procedures and views.
- Testing
& Quality Assurance: Write unit tests,
participate in code reviews, and identify bottlenecks or bugs to ensure
production reliability.
- Team
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional
teams (product, design, QA, and senior engineers) in Agile/Scrum
ceremonies.
- Technical
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of technical
specifications, APIs, and workflows.
Skills Required:
- Core
Coding & DSA: Solid command of at least one major
programming language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript) and a
firm grasp of Data Structures & Algorithms.
- AI-Assisted
Development: Practical understanding of how to prompt,
validate, debug, and integrate AI-generated code responsibly.
- Database
Fundamentals: Strong working knowledge of Relational
Databases (RDBMS) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server, including
query writing, joins, and indexing concepts.
- Communication & Collaboration: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for articulating technical logic and requirements.
Good-to-Have (Bonus Points)
- Experience
with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, PyTest, NUnit, Jest, Mocha).
- Familiarity
with version control systems (Git and GitHub/GitLab).
- Exposure
to RESTful APIs, microservices basics, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or
GCP).
- Personal
projects, open-source contributions, or an active GitHub portfolio.
Recruitment Process:
