Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and
maintain Java-based applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Assist in
developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Support the
development and integration of RESTful APIs.
- Write clean,
efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards.
- Work with
databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
- Understand
and work with JSON and XML for data exchange.
- Participate
in debugging, testing, and fixing application issues.
- Collaborate
with cross-functional teams during the software development lifecycle.
- Learn and
implement best practices in software development and version control.
Required Skills
- Good
knowledge of Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Basic
understanding of Spring Boot or Spring Framework.
- Knowledge of
REST APIs and HTTP methods.
- Basic
understanding of SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity
with Maven for project and dependency management.
- Basic
understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Exposure to
frontend technologies such as React.js (preferred) or Vue.js is an
advantage.
- Understanding
of JSON and XML.
- Good
analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong
communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of
Git or any version control system.
- Basic
understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Exposure to
cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity
with NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Cassandra).
- Knowledge of
caching concepts (Redis or Ehcache).
- Experience
with academic or personal Java projects.
