Roles &
Responsibilities:
Real-Time
Monitoring & Incident Handling
· Monitor IT systems, applications, servers, and networks using approved monitoring tools.
· Detect, log, and validate alerts and events in real time.
· Perform Level-1 triage based on SOPs and categorize incidents accurately.
· Create, update, and close tickets in the ITSM system with complete documentation.
SLA Adherence
· Ensure all alerts and incidents are acknowledged, responded to, and escalated within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
· Track incident progress and proactively follow up with L2/L3 teams to avoid SLA breaches.
· Support the team by identifying potential SLA risks and notifying supervisors.
· Escalation Matrix Compliance
· Escalate incidents strictly according to the defined Escalation Matrix (functional, hierarchical, and severity-based).
· Ensure timely communication to technical teams, stakeholders, and shift leads for high-severity incidents (P1/P2).
· Maintain accurate escalation logs for audit and compliance.
Process Compliance
& Reporting
· Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident management workβlows, and documentation guidelines.
· Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, security processes, and audit requirements.
· Provide timely shift handover reports and daily monitoring summaries.
· Identify and report any deviations or gaps in processes.
Skills
Required:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong proficiency in English.
· Basic understanding of IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, databases, and applications.
· Ability to interpret monitoring alerts and logs.
· Familiarity with incident management and ITIL best practices (advantage).
· Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar (preferred).
· Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (IT preferred).
· Willingness to work in 24×7 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage critical situations.
· Good analytical and problem-solving mindset.
· Strong teamwork, collaboration, and accountability.
· Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
· Willingness to Learn for graduating to next level roles.
Preferred
Experience
· 6 Months to 2 years of hands-on experience in IT Monitoring, NOC Operations, or Service Desk roles.
· Understanding of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
